Aerosphere® CO2 Gas Sensor Component

The CO2 Sensor is the detection component of the Aerosphere® Carbon Dioxide Monitoring System. The sensor measures carbon dioxide from a range of 0 to 50,000 ppm (5%). It is recommended that the sensor be placed a maximum of 12 inches above floor level for the best detection of carbon dioxide leaks.

The sensor is also equipped to handle changes in barometric pressure. For example, a sensor in Denver, CO (5,300 feet) would read about 18% lower than a sensor in Orlando, FL (sea level) for the same gas concentration. Changes in the installer setup menu can adjust for the different altitudes. Please refer to the accompanied manual for details.

We produce the RJ12 cable (6 ft.) specific to our products' best use. If you need a specific length, do not hesitate to contact us. All of our cable is Plenum rated.
